Casement Windows
What are Casement Windows?
Outswing casement windows are mainly made from engineered laminated pine wood. They can also be made from meranti, Accoya, oak, sipo or other kinds of wood. The wood we use for our casement windows is given an eco-friendly treatment to prevent blue stain effects and decay. This is performed in a water-soluble alkyd-based prime coat.
Our Double Glazing Methods
Our double glazing U-value is 1.0 W/m2K, which helps insulate buildings from noise pollution and draughts. We also offer the option to use triple glazing with a U-value of 0.6 W/m2K to add to our casement windows’ effectiveness.
A special “warm” glass spacer can also be used to achieve even better parameters of the glass. We also offer a painted glass spacer in three different colours (white, silver or black) to meet individual requirements.
